Trinity students in the middle school experience departmentalized instruction of core subjects taught by teachers highly qualified in specific areas. Four teachers cover Religion, Literature, Language Arts, History/Geography, Math, Science, and STEM. Departmentalized instruction prepares students for their transition to high school.
In addition, enrichment classes are taught by teachers through a shared partnership program with Airport Schools (Spanish, Music, Art, Band and Physical Education).
As middle school students become more independent, teachers and parents continue to partner to assist them to refine solid study habits, and critical thinking skills. This partnership is essential for student’s successful academic experience.
Academic excellence Most Trinity students consistently score above the state average in standardized testing. Our graduates are readily accepted into all local high schools, public and parochial, often moving right into various honors and Advanced Placement classes.
Be Family We encourage friendships and mentoring of our students across all age levels. Family is the heart of ministry here at Trinity. Middle school students improve their leadership skills through opportunities to mentor younger students.
Character development We emphasize the important character traits of respect for others, responsibility, hard work, service, caring and trustworthiness. Middle school students have opportunities to contribute in various community service projects.
Spiritual Growth Students participate in daily prayer, classroom devotions, weekly chapel service, Bible reading and study. We want each student to know Jesus as their personal Savior, be strengthened in their relationship with Jesus, and demonstrate their faith through daily actions.
